Reference rate at Rs 39.95 per USD

Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate for the US dollar at Rs 39.95, down 7 paise from its yesterday's rate of Rs 40.02 per USD.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee was quoted at Rs 78.9112 (78.7774) per Pound and Rs 39.58 (39.12) per 100 unit respectively, an RBI release said.
