Raid at Kanchi Collectorate official's house
Kancheepuram, Apr 10 (UNI) The residence of an official working at the Kancheepuram Collectorate was today raided following complaints that he had amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Police said sleuths of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption raided the residence of Mr Bhaskaran (50) at Kanniappa Nagar in the district for about three hours.
Several incriminating documents and Rs 18,000 in cash were seized during the raid, police added.
