IBM rewards innovating partners

Bangalore, Apr 10 (UNI) IBM today felicitated its top Indian business Partners with the 2008 Beacon Awards for their outstanding contribution in providing innovative solutions and improving customer satisfaction across India.

City-based MindTree Consulting bagged the overall technical excellence (Asia Pacific) award, IBM press release said.

The other Indian companies among the award winners were Global Groupware Solutions for SaaS and Ontrack Solutions for Regional Consultant and System integrator and Outstanding integrated Solution in A-Pac.

Tata Consultancy Services was the finalist for Excellence in use of system for new workloads or applications and for Innovation Excellence in Government outstanding Information on Demand Solution.

The formal felicitation function would be held in Las Vegas by the end of this month.

The award recognises innovative ways of collaborating with IBM and other Business Partners and bringing a new flexible approach to the marketplace.

The Winners were selected in eight categories by panels of leading-industry journalists, analysts and IBM executives.
