EC issues notice to Shivraj Singh Chouhan
New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) The Election Commission today issued notice to the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for violating the Model Code of Conduct by announcing new schemes of distribution of rice and wheat at subsidised rates and stating that this will be implemented in Betul.
The Commission has asked Mr Chouhan to reply to the notice by 1700 hrs tomorrow.
