Chargesheet against BSEB accountant

Patna, Apr 10(UNI) The Bihar vigilance bureau today submitted a chargesheet in a special court here, against an accountant of Bihar State Electricity Board(BSEB) in a bribery case.

The chargesheet was submitted by the bureau before the court of designated judge S K Panwar under the various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act against the accountant of BSEB Ramkumar Singh.

The accused accountant was posted in Gardanibagh electricity supply division in the state capital at the time of occurence.

According to the charges the accused was arrested by vigilance sleuths while accepting a bribe of Rs 1500 from a consumer of BSEB for making correction in his domestic electric consumer bill on February 12, 2008.
