Accusation against AIADMK sparks noisy scenes in TN House
Chennai, Apr 10 (UNI)The Tamil Nadu Assembly today witnessed noisy scenes for a short while after the HR&CE Minister Periya Karuppan made an allegation that the erstwhile AIADMK government had not reclaimed land belonging to a temple from a person at Madhurantakam.
When the minister made the remark, AIADMK members vehmently protested and said that charges should not be made during question hour as it was against the Assembly rules.
Intervening, Finance Minister K Anbazhagan requested the Speaker A Avudaiappan to expunge the name of the person and the political party (AIADMK) mentioned by the minister.
The Speaker did so.
