Hijbul militants surrendered in J and K

Jammu and Kashmir, April 05 , 2008 : Two militants belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit have surrendered before Indian security forces in India's northern Jammu and Kashmir on April 05.

The militants, identified as Farooq Ahmed alias Umer and Mohammed Iqbal alias Amir, have surrendered along with two rifles, magazines and ammunitions.They also disclosed that majority of their activists have been asked by the group commanders' to shift towards upper reaches and avoid a direct contact with security forces for next two to three months.
