India to grow despite economic hurdles

Singapore, April 5, 2008 : Indian trade minister Kamal Nath has expressed hope about countries of the Asia Pacific region, particularly India and China, will shine despite hurdles of currency appreciation and sub-prime crises, during the 'Incredible India@60' campaign in Singapore.

Kamal Nath stressed on the economic problems that started in the US in March 2007, when the sub prime mortgage industry collapsed due to higher-than-expected home foreclosure rates.
