Student drowns in Dikhu river of Nagaland
Kohima, Apr 9 (UNI) A student of Institute of Communication and Information Technology (ICIT), Mokokchung, drowned and his body was fished out from Dikhu river, official sources here said today.
They said Theputo Lohe went fishing with his friends yesterday. During fishing he slipped and fell into the water.
His friends could not locate him since he was immediately swept away by the waves.
Later his body was recovered with help of local villagers of Longmisa village.
He was an Electronic Engineering student and a resident of Mokokchung town, under Phek district of Nagaland.
