Mother ends life after killing three children

Bangalore, Apr 9(UNI) Grinding poverty and the unending sufferings has led a young mother ending her life after smothering her three infant children, including twin daughters, to death at Muthkur village in Hoskote taluk in Bangalore rural district.

According to police the deceased identified as Munirathna (26) killed her children -- the three-year-old twins and another aged three before killing herself last night. All the four bodies were found hanging in her house in the village by the nighboures today.

The woman, reportedly deserted by her husband, was living in the village under abject poverty and was struggling to feed her children.

Top police officers including DGP and SP rushed to the village.
