Maya played Rahul card to hide her flaws: BJP

Lucknow, Apr 9 (UNI) Denouncing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati for issuing statements against Congress general secreatry Rahul Gandhi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said she is drawing public attention to such baseless issues to hide flaws committed during her 11-month-old regime.

UP BJP spokesperson Hridaya Narayan Dixit said, '' During the election compaign for the April 12 bypoll, Mayawati has not mentioned even a single development work done by her, instead she was busy counting funds asked from Centre and criticising Rahul.'' BSP had made no big achievements. It had only framed opposition in fake cases, quashed government posts at panchayat and city level, demolished and rebuilt parks.

Expressing concern over the dismal condition of farmers, he said farmers were the biggest victim in BSP regime, they had no irrigation facilities, poor power supply and most of them committed suicide due to debt-burden and penury.

He said law and order machinery had totally failed in Mayawati regime as loot, robbery, murder, rape and other such heinous crimes had shown an upward swing.
