Khalilabad bypoll: BSP, SP in main battle

Basti/Siddharthnagar, Apr 9 (UNI) The Ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and principal opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) are face-to-face and all set to give a tough fight to each other in the April 12 Khalilabad Lok Sabha byelection.

Political parties, including the BSP, SP, BJP, Congress, and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), have fielded their respective candidates from Khalilabad Lok Sabha seat, but the main fight seems to take place between BSP's ''elephant'' and SP's ''cycle.'' Total 20 candidates, comprising Bheesham Shankar alias Kushal Tiwari (BSP), Bhal Chandra Yadav (SP), Chandra Shekhar Pandey (BJP), Sanjay Jaiswal (Congress) and Sudhir Kumar (RLD), are contesting from this parliamentary seat this time.

Election hustings are on with in full-swing these days for the coming byelection.
