Khalilabad bypoll: Border to be sealed after campaining ends

Siddharthnagar, Apr 9 (UNI) For conducting free and fair Khalilabad bypoll on April 12, the border of this parliamentary segment surrounding the Basti, Sant Kabirnagar and Siddharthnagar districts of Basti division would be sealed the moment election hustings end tomorrow evening.

DIG, Basti range, P V Ramashashtri today told UNI that with the sealing, 50 barriers on the border and 30 inside it would also start functioning.

To conduct free and fair poll, 21 companies of paramilitary force had already reached here and were being deployed at the polling centres, he informed.
