HUL equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Arrangement

Mumbai, Apr 9 (UNI) Hindustan Unilever Limited has informed BSE meeting of the equity shareholders of the Company will be held on April 29, 2008.

Pursuant to order by High Court of Judicature at Bombay, the meeting will be held for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the Scheme of Arrangement proposed to be made between Hindustan Unilever Limited (Applicant Company), Brooke Bond Real Estate Private Limited (Resulting Company) and their respective Shareholders and Creditors for the demerger and transfer of certain immovable properties of the Applicant Company to the Resulting Company.
