Bank of Baroda opens wholesale branch in Bahrain
Dubai, April 9 (UNI) The Bank of Baroda has opened a wholesale banking branch in Bahrain to meet the corporate requirements of Bahrain and the other neighbouring countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The branch is the Bank's 71st International office (in addition to over 2,800 branches in India) and now the Bank is present in 25 countries.
In Bahrain, the wholesale banking branch, which went operational on March 23 this year, offers various products and services for corporates like term loans, demand loans, working capital financing, trade finance, non fund based limits (letter of credit/bank guarantees) to meet their business needs.
All the companies in the UAE and Oman, who are having their branches/offices in Bahrain, can use this opportunity and avail credit limits from the Bahrain branch, Mr Eric F Tucker, Chief Executive (Bahrain), Bank of Baroda said in a statement.
