AP Governor accepts minister's resignation
Hyderabad, Apr 9 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor ND Tiwari today accepted the resignation of state Higher Education minister D Srinivas, who had submitted his papers to Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy after he was appointed as the state Congress Party President.
According to an official release here, on the advise of the Chief Minister, Mr Tiwari had accepted the resignation with immediate effect.
The portfolio would be looked after by state Technical Education minister R Chenga Reddy until alternative arrangements were made.
