ACB nets RTO, unearths assets worth Rs 88 lakh

Hyderabad, Apr 9 (UNI) The sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today conducted simultanous searches on the premises of the houses of Regional Transport Officer (RTO) of Uppal region in Ranga Reddy district and unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 88 lakh.

The ACB officials conducted searchs in the houses of the Transport Official M Vijaya kumar and his relatives and friends, an official release said here.

The unearthed assets included gold, silver, valuable stones and diamonds, one car, household articles, documents of three plots in Hyderabad and 47 acres of land in Nalgonda.

The accused would be produced before the Principal Special Judge for ACB cases, Hyderabad, the release added.
