Tribals form milk union KAMUL in Assam

Assam, Apr 7, 2008: The administration of Karbi Anglong, an Autonomous Hill District in India's northeastern Assam has initiated a milk union project for the upliftment of the tribals linking the producer, distributor and consumer with one another.

The milk project, christened as Karbi Anglong Milk Union Limited or KAMUL, has drawn a lot of people after officials educated the tribals relatively the significance of providing milk to children, especially the fresh and pure milk.
