Tibetan exiles offer prayers for peace in Tibet

New Delhi/ Dharamshala, April 6, 2008 : Scores of Tibetan exiles gathered on April 6 to offers prayers for peace in Tibet. Terming the occasion as the Global Prayer Day, the monks chanted religious hymns to pray for restoration of peace in their homeland and also to show solidarity towards those killed recently in Tibet.

Meanwhile, the Dalai Lama on April 06 sent out a message to the Tibetans across the globe that they should stop their protests and agitation if China withdraws its troops.
