Extreme Networks looks at accelerating business growth

Chennai, Apr 8 (UNI) The Nasdaq-listed Extreme Networks Inc, which established its facility in the city in 2005, has embarked on a journey to accelerate its business growth using the Ethernet route.

Extreme Networks designed, built and installed Ethernet infrastructure solutions that solve the toughest business communication challenges.

Addressing a press conference here, company President and CEO Mark Canepa said ''India has become a global centre for IT and Extreme Networks has made early investments, helping to drive leading-edge Ethernet to both India's enterprises and telecom service providers.'' ''By having our Indian team work with India's leading channel partners and global technology partners, we can more effectively bring innovative network products that result in the growth of converged communications and their related efficiencies,'' he said.

Mr Canepa said India represented a strategic growth market within the Asia Pacific region. Extreme Networks was helping Indian customers to build more intelligent networks that connected them to the world.
