DY CEC holds training programme for assemby poll in Karnataka

Mysore, Apr 8 (UNI) The Deputy Chief Election Commissioner R Bhattacharya and other officials today held a Divisional level training programme for the officials.

Mr Bhattacharya along with CEC Special Officer R Ramasheshan and Secretary Wilfred held a meeting with senior officials of the Mysore, Chamarjanagara, Kodagu and Mandya Districts which instructions were given for the ensuing assembly poll preparations in Karnataka.

They held a meeting with police officials and briefed about the security arrangements for the polling.

Similar meetings and training programmes would also be held in various parts the state during the next two days.
