Counterfeit currency racket busted, four held

Bhopal, Apr 8 (UNI) A counterfeit currency racket was busted with the arrest of four people and 30 fake notes of Rs 500 denomination seized from them in the state capital, a police spokesperson said today.

On a tip-off, police raided a place in Parwalia area and arrested Jeetu, Abid, Giriraj and Shaitan Singh. The foursome had come from Jhalawad and Kota in Rajasthan.

Apart from fake notes, huge quantity of paper of size of Rs 500 note, chemical and other materials were seized.
