Cooperation with Italy in various sectors possible: Khanduri

Dehra Dun, Apr 8 (UNI) Italy will cooperate with Uttarakhand to boost technology, food, and tourism in the state.

Italian Ambassador Antonio Armellini and Chief Minister B C Khanduri in a meeting here yesterday underlined that mutual cooperation in tapping optimum potential in various fields such as technology, tourism, fruit, flowers, herbs and so on, would lead the state towards rapid development.

The envoy said Italy planned to invest in agro-foods and technology in the future and would consider exhange of technology, besides assisting in development of air, road and rail travel.

Mr Antonio also called on Governor B L Joshi at Raj Bhavan and updated him on the conduct of business between the two countries in the automobile, banking and insurance, industries.
