AP plans pavala vaddi for ex-servicemen
Hyderabad, Apr 8 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government, which has extended the pavala vaddi scheme to advance loans to various sections of the society, has in principle decided to extend the facility to ex-servicemen too.
Talking to the mediapersons here, Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju said the modalities were being worked out for advancing loans to ex-servicemen entrepreneurs at a mere three per cent interest rate.
Coming to power promising pavala vaddi for women self help groups, the Congress Government had already extended the subsidised loan scheme to entrepreneurs belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes.
