Train passengers hold demonstrations
Nashik, Apr 7 (UNI) Angry over the delayed arrival of Manmad-Mumbai Panchavati Express at Nashik Road railway station, passengers of the train held demonstration this morning.
The train arrived around two-and-half hours after its scheduled time of 0657 hrs. This caused inconvenience to passengers including those who travel Mumbai for work daily.
The passengers expressed their anger against the railway administration by shouting slogans, sources said.
According to the railway authority, the train's arrival was delayed due to technical snags.
Meanwhile, MLA Dr Shobha Bachhav, who was also among the passengers of the train, said she would raise the question in Legislative Assembly.
''We have registered our complaint with the railway administration,'' the MLA added.
