Slight quake experienced in Gujarat

New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) A slight intensity quake, measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale, was felt in the Kachchh region of Gujarat this afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said here.

The tremor, which occurred at 1431 hrs, was epicentered at 23.5 degree North Latitude and 70.2 degree East Longitude, an IMD release said.

However, no loss of life or damage to property was reported.
