Robbers break open Hundi in temple

Puducherry, Apr 7(UNI) Robbers broke open the Hundi of the Vinayagar temple at Thatanchavady last night.

Police said the temple priest locked it last night and went home.

Robbers gained entry into the temple through a hole on the terrace, broke open the Hundi and decamped with the booty.

Based on a complaint from the Special Officer Sekharan today, a case had been registered and investigation was, underway, police added.

Fingerprint experts also rushed to the spot.
