Reference rate quoted at Rs 39.93 per USD

Mumbai, Apr 7 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate for the US dollar at Rs 39.93, down four paise from its Friday's rate of Rs 39.97 per USD.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee was quoted at Rs 79.3469 (79.7861) per Pound and Rs 38.95 (39.00) per 100 unit respectively, an RBI release said.
