No trust motion passed against Kaithal MC chief

Kaithal, Apr 7 (UNI) Chairperson local municipal council Sunita Bansal, already under suspension, was removed from her post today following the passage of a non confidence motion against her by three fourth majority.

As many as 24 elected members out of 31 and local MLA S S Surjewala voted in favour of the non confidence motion against the MC chief.

Ramesh Verma, ADC, presiding officer that report in this connection will be sent to the Director local bodies.

Ms Bansal and her supporters were not present during passing of the non confidence motion .

Sunita Bansal was suspended by the Director local Bodies Haryana last month after the DC Kaithal submitted a report that she was involved in commiting irregularities.
