'Implement inter-state compensatory mechanism to check migration'
Mumbai, Apr 7 (UNI) In the wake of the recent hate campaign against North Indians here, a local organisation has suggested that there should be an inter-state compensatory mechanism whenever the influx of people exceeds a certain limit.
Putting forth the suggestion at a press conference here today, Shivrajya Party general secretary Divakar Dalvi explained while citing an example, that if the number of migrants from say Maharashtra in Gujarat exceeds a certain limit, then Maharashtra should offer appropriate compensation to Gujarat for the burden.
The migration limit and the compensation to be paid, should be determined by the Parliament, Mr Dalvi said while making his suggestion.
