Gulbarga records highest temperature of 35.6 degree Celsius

Bangalore, Apr 7 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Ron 5; Mundargi, Bimalkhed 4 each; Chincholi 3; Dharmasthala, Hanumasagar, Hungund, Nagathan, Bhalki, Kammardi 2 each; Subramanya, Afzalpur, Narayanpur 1 each.

Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places over Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35.6 degree Celsius over the State.
