Growing naxalism a matter of concern: Razi

Jaunpur, Apr 7 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Saiyed Sibte Razi today stressed on the need to combat Naxalism that was spreading like fire in the country.

''Naxalism has already affected 15 states of the country and is now spreading in Punjab,'' Mr Razi said here.

Unbalanced economic development is its main cause, he noted.

Both the Central and the state governments were making efforts to control Naxalism, but more efforts were needed to combat it, the Governor said.
