Ex-civil surgeon at GH passes away

Chennai, Apr 7 (UNI) Dr S Ramaswamy, former Civil surgeon at the Government General Hospital, died here this morning.

He was 77. He is survived by three sons and two daughters.

His son R Ravi, an advocate in Madras High Court, is the Legal Cell Convener of Janata Party.

Dr Ramaswamy was professor of Medicine at MMC from 1985 to 1991.

Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy condoled the death of Dr Ramaswamy, hailed for his free medical service to the poor.
