AICC Gen Secy arrives in Goa to resolve crisis

Panaji, Apr 7 (UNI) All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and in-charge of Goa Desk B K Hariprasad arrived in Goa today to diffuse the infighting among the Congress leaders and the ongoing tussle between the coalition partners.

The AICC General Secretary is expected to discuss the issue of accommodating Taleigao MLA Antanasio (Babush) Monseratte in the Cabinet to whom the Congress High Command had promised a cabinet berth to ensure stability in the Government.

Mr Hariprasad will also meet Chief Minister Digamber Kamat, party officials and MLAs to resolve the issue involving PWD Minister Churchill Alemao and Tourism Minister Francisco (Micky) Pacheco over the developmental work in Benaulim Constituency.
