65 kg ganja seized; 3 arrested in AP

Visakhapatnam, Apr 7: City police officials seized 65 kg of fine quality ganja, meant for smuggling to neighbouring Karnataka, and arrested three people, including one from Karnataka, at Allipuram near the railway station late last night.

Police said during routine raids in the city, they seized Rs seven lakh worth contraband concealed in five gunny bags and arrested K Nagaraju (28) of Karnataka, tribals, Korra Ramu and his wife K Neelamma from the district. The arrested were later remanded in police custody.
