TN yet to resume bus services to K'taka
Bangalore, Apr 6 (UNI) Bus services from Tamil Nadu remained suspended as transport corporations authorities in the neighbouring state were yet to decide on resuming the services to Karnataka in the wake of agitation against the Hogenakkal water project.
Bus services from either side of the border remained suspended during the last week and no vehicle crossed the border at the busy Hosur. It had been the same case in the southern part of Chamarajanagar also.
According to KSRTC officials, nearly 200 buses belonging to Tamil Nadu were yet to resume services from the Satellite Bus Stand on the Mysore Road towards Chennai and Salem.
However, the situation had improved in the wake of Tamil Nadu Government putting on hold the project till a popular government was elected in the Karnataka State which goes to polls in May.
