Threatening the govt necessary at times; Sule

Mumbai, Apr 6 (UNI) Rajya Sabha MP Supriya Sule today said threatening the government is sometimes required to get administrative work done, as it needs to be shaken for initiating some action.

Speaking at a function, organised by the Transport and Dock Workers Union here today, Ms Sule said the Union is right in threatening the government on various issues, as governmental work is always delayed due to some reasons.

''I also have resorted to threatening many times, as I have not received payments and funds for my schools on various occasions,'' she remarked.

Ms Sule said her entry in active politics and her membership of the Rajya Sabha has tied her hands and quipped added that she does not resort to threatening anymore.
