Theft of LPG gas from cylinders, racket busted

New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) Police have arrested a gang involved in transferring LPG from filled cylinders to empty ones.

According to the police, two boys were yesterday caught red handed while transferring the gas from the sealed cylinder to empty ones with the help of a refilling iron pipe.

ACP (Operations, North) Shamsher Singh Malik along with his team arrested the duo on the spot when they were refilling gas.

The accused have been identified as Suresh Kumar(22) and Anant Kumar(18).

They transferred nearly one kg gas from the sealed cylinder to an empty one and supplied it to customers.
