Rs two lakhs looted from bus passengers in Nawada
Nawada, Apr 6 (UNI) About a dozen criminals today looted cash and articles worth Rs two lakhs from the passengers of a bus and four other private vehicles near Jogia under Kouakol police station area in the district.
SP Binod Kumar said the criminals managed to escape from the spot immediately after committing the loot.
Police, who began raids in the area, managed to arrest four criminals, while the others sneaked into the nearby dense forests, police said.
On interrogation, it appeared that the arrested criminals were associated with the proscribed CPI(Maoist).
