Punjab police on the heals to nab cocaine smuggler
Amritsar, Apr 6 (UNI) The Punjab Police has sought the assistance of the Rajasthan Police to nab notorious smuggler Kapil Kumar, a resident of Sikar district of Rajasthan.
Confirming this development, an official spokesman said it was Kapil who had sent the two kg contraband cocaine which was seized by the police near Jandiala in the last week of March.
Rajnish Kumar and Bhawar Lal, both residents of Sikar district who had carried the contraband were taken into custody.
Rajnish and Bhawar are the associates of Kapil, who is also involved in contract farming of poppy in Churu district of Rajasthan.
Ashok Kumar, a local contact of Kapil and a resident of Verka town, is also absconding since the seizure.
