Public health employees to protest against 6th pay recomm
New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) Public Health employees, including the paramedics and Group 'D' Nursing employees, are up in arms against the recommendations of the sixth central Pay Commission stating that they are anti-employees and anti-health.
National Public Health Alliance(NPHA) Secretary V S Dahiya said the employees will organise a protest demonstration at Parliament Street tomorrow against the report.
NPHA will also approach Prime Minister Manmohan Singh demanding that the recommendations should not be implemented before an exhaustive discussion with them, a release said.
Leaders, including, AK Mazumdar and Dipak Dhokla along with G K Khurana, Amarjeet Kaur Anand, Prem Solanki, Mr Shish Ram Soni and Dharan Bir Bharadwaj, will participate in the demonstration.
