PEAS organizes World Health Day free medical camp
Mumbai, Apr 6 (UNI) City-based PEAS (Patient Education Awareness Series), a pioneering initiative by Infoseek India Limited, today organized a free medical check-up camp and 'Patient Self Education' health literacy campaign at the HELP library at the Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), here yesterday, as a prequel to the World Health Day that falls on April 7.
The day-long event was marked by interactive sessions between patients and the city's leading doctors on critical lifestyle diseases, stress-induced addictions, Cosmetology and Trichology.
A number of healing excercises, through acting workshops, yoga sessions and spot quiz contests for visitors, were also held throughout the day, a release issued here today stated.
