Indo-Nepal border to be sealed for April 10 election
Lucknow, Apr 6 (UNI) Ahead of Nepal elections on April 10, security has been beefed up at Indo-Nepal border with the sealing of bordering districts for 24 hrs beginning April 9 night.
Nepal's assembly election are scheduled on April 10, Ahead of which Indo-Nepal border will be sealed, however, officials of both the countries would remain connected through phone and fax, official sources said.
Indian and Nepal officials had a meeting yesterday to make arrangements for peaceful polls in the bordering districts, Nepal Kapilvastu CDO Ram Bilas Rai and Balrampur District Magistrate Sachidanand Dubey informed.
The Indian officials had assured the Nepal government to extend every possible help.
