Himachal Pradesh: Feasibility research on NH-21

Shimla, Apr 6: The work of feasibility study for the stretch of National Highway No. 21-A from Pinjore to Swarghat has been proposed to be included in the Annual Plan 2008-09 and four laning of the above stretch would be taken. An official Spokesmen disclosing this here today, said that the Centre Government had decided to make it a four-lane highway after completing the feasibility study for the same.

He also informed that Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister had taken up the matter of four-laning of the highway with Government of India in view of increasing traffic flow on NH-21-A. He said that four laning of the NH would ensure smooth plying of traffic.
