DMA to hold cycle rally tomorrow
New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) To celebrate the World Health Organisation (WHO) Day and to create awareness about good health among people, Delhi Medical Association (DMA), a premier organisation with more than 10,000 doctors as its members, will organise a cycle rally here tomorrow.
The rally will start from Rajghat at 1400 hrs and will finish at the DMA's house at Daryaganj.
Dr Puneet Dhawan, chairman, of the WHO Day and Dr Ashwini Dalmiya Hony Secretary, DMA, in a press release said the theme of WHO this year is'Protecting Health from climate change'.
''Human activities are the main cause of climate change and if we create awareness among people to curb such activities that bring about climate change, our health will be benefitted,'' they said.
