'Shavyatra' of Centre, MP Govt taken out
Bhopal, Apr 5 (UNI) Angry residents today took out a 'shavyatra' of the Centre and the Madhya Pradesh Government from Shahjahani park here to protest against rising prices of essential commodities.
Led by the Bhopal Gas Peedit Mahila Udyog Sangathan (BGPMUS), agitators later burnt the effigies of both the Centre and the State Government.
BGPMUS convenor Abdul Jabbar said the Centre was not concerned over price rise, while the State Government was not taking steps to curb it.
