Sarveen Chaudhary hails CM for Women IRB

Shimla, Apr 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sarveen Choudhary today said that the setting up of an all women India Reserve Battalion was a laudable step.

She said the Battalion would provide employment opportunities to women of the State and would ensure their effective participation in the mainstream of the State besides strengthening their financial status.

The Battalion, which would be stationed at Bilaspur would provide as many as 1007 employment opportunities to women during the coming two years, she said.
