Pro-Kannada groups call for ban on Rajni films

Bangalore, Apr 5 (UNI) Some Pro-Kannada organisations today demanded a ban on the films of Tamil superstar Rajnikant for his remarks on the controversial Hogenakkal water project.

Speaking to newspersons here, Vatal Nagaraj, President of ''Vatal Paksha'' said his organisation will not allow screening of Rajni's films and the actor to enter the state.

Incidentally, the actor was born in Karnataka and began his career working as a city bus conductor before becoming a super star.
