People's Rights Secretary intl observer in Nepal polls

Puducherry, Apr 5: Puducherry Federation For People's Rights Secretary G Sugumaran will leave for Nepal on April 7 as an international election observer for the constituent assembly election in Nepal.

In a statement here today, Mr Sugumaran said he would be an international election observer in the country following an invitation from the constituent assembly election observation joint forum. The assembly election in Nepal would be held on April 10. Apart from the 92,245 local observers, over 5,00 were appointed as international election observers. Already ten election observers from the European Union were in Nepal, he added.
