Liberation struggle not practical in Kerala: Pinarayi

Thrissur, Apr 5 (UNI) CPI(M) Kerala unit Secretary Pinarai Vijayan today said the liberation struggle would not be practical in Kerala again.

Speaking at a seminar on ''liberation: struggle, experiences and lessons'' here, he said the liberation struggle in 1959 had led to the dismissal of the first Communist Government in the state by the then Congress Government at the Centre, he said.

The situation had changed and the Congress at the Centre, which was ruling with the support of the CPI(M), would not venture for such acts now, he added.
